"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"

In 1854's Walden, Thoreau observed that "The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation". Over 170 years later, this indictment of the common experience of men in modern society remains unchanged.

 

The G:6 Society works to change this paradigm by building a community of men who carry each others burdens and who are dedicated to the growth of their spiritual, emotional, and physical reality.

The world tells us that a "Real Man" must remain stoic, emotionally disconnected, and prioritize the

accumulation of material possessions over the pursuit of God and his true purpose. This flawed belief system is what has caused the crisis of masculinity we currently face.

 

The G:6 society was founded by a group of men who formed a unique bond through their shared struggle to find true purpose and meaning in their lives and to overcome mental health issues and addiction. Realizing that they all had experienced the same feelings of isolation and despair that are intrinsically linked to the male identity in our society, it become their collective purpose to begin the mission of restoring the soul of their community one father, brother and son at a time.
